role=\"tabpanel\">\n<h2>\u535a\u58eb\u8ad6\u6587\u82f1\u6587\u8981\u65e8<\/h2>\n<h3><a>A Study on Concept of gaya in Balinese Gamelan Music: A Case Study of Gong Kebyar Performance.<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>Gamelan gong kebyar appeared in northern Bali in the 1910s, and thereafter spread throughout that island. Gong kebyar competitions began in the 1930s and as result \u201cgaya daerah (regional style) \u201d have developed. \u201c Gaya \u201d is the term in Indonesian that means the same thing as style in English. But, would be gaya the same as the musicological paradigm of the style?<br \/>\nIn this thesis, I consider paradigm of gaya in Balinese gamelan music in gong kebyar throughout music analysis and realization of gaya.<br \/>\nChapter 1, lays out the objectives of thesis, presents a review of the related literature, and discusses the methods employed in mar research.<br \/>\nChapter 2 explores term of gaya kabupaten (prefectural style) based upon comment of Balinese musicians and literatures, that Balinese use term \u201cgaya\u201d to distinguish oneself from one&#8217;s competitor in other regions.<br \/>\nChapter 3 analyze colotomic structure, a kind of core melody (pokok), order of playing core melody, number of replication, figurations of melody in Oleg Tumuilingan, a piece of gong kebyar, compare seven recording by music clubs in village with five recordings by groups in institute of art.<br \/>\nMusic clubs in village have many variations order of playing core melody, number of replication, and melody of figuration in Oleg Tumuilingan. On the other hand, groups in institute of art have almost no variations those.<br \/>\nChapter 4 examines tempos in Oleg Tumuilingan, compare six recording by music clubs in village in 1970\u2019s with five recordings by groups in institute of art in 1980\u2019s by methods empirical. Recordings in 1970\u2019s are varied tempo, while recordings in1980\u2019s have almost no variante.<br \/>\nChapter 5 focuses on Gong Geladag, music club in Geladag village, try to consider musical tradition. Gong Geladag musicians inherit melody of figuration in Oleg Tumuilingan.<br \/>\nChapter 6 concludes this thesis. Essentially term of \u201cgaya daerah \u201c is used distinguish oneself from one&#8217;s competitor in other regions. But today paradigm gaya come close paradigm \u201cstyle\u201d.<br \/>\n<span style=\"line-height: 1.84;\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"tab_div_8mvc\" class=\"tab_content\" aria-labeledby=\"tab_li_8mvc\"
